About
Egmont Manor
A 19th-century manor in Eure-et-Loir, a patient restoration, and a correspondence sent by post — for those who love the genuine.
What we do
Egmont Manor was born of a simple project: to restore a 19th-century French manor, stone by stone, and to tell its story. Rather than film the restoration, we chose to write it. Each month, the Egmont Letters Club sends by post an envelope containing the month's letters, printed on fine paper, sealed with our arms and posted from the manor. Alongside the Club, a Boutique offers past months' Tomes individually, and the digital Archives keep every letter from the beginning, accessible online for life to members.
Who it's for
The Letters Club is for lovers of the genuine, collectors of small joys, and all those seeking a moment of calm in a world that moves too fast. Our readers are in France, across Europe, and as far as Brazil — united by a taste for slow, beautiful things, for paper, and for true stories. The letters are available in French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Who builds the manor
Behind Egmont Manor are Dimitri and David. We bought this manor in September 2025; in November, it burned down. From that trial the Letters Club was born — a way to share the story of the rebirth, month after month, with those who wish to follow us. We write, print, fold and post every envelope ourselves, here, at the manor.
